“It was important for me to work with a regional service provider,” says Grimm. “I already knew ledxon because the company had implemented the outdoor lighting for our Freising branch,” explains Grimm. “The last deciding factor for the cooperation was a lecture on the subject of lighting in the salesroom given by ledxon Key Account Manager Retail Silvana Torretta at an event organised by the Interessengemeinschaft Landshut Innenstadt e. V. (Landshut City Centre Interest Group). Your arguments convinced me right down the line”. The positive impression continued during the project. “Unlike many of its competitors, ledxon not only spoke of the advantages of its own product range, but also presented a concept right from the start,” recalls Grimm. “This included detailed proposals in terms of lighting design, light colour and luminous intensity. In addition, I was fully informed about the importance of the correct beam angle”.
The ledxon team used tracklights with Brilliance light colour to perfectly emphasise porcelain, glass and high-quality fabrics. This colour captivates with its particularly high colour rendering and gives the illuminated products a luxurious appearance. The shop window sizes in the store proved to be a particular challenge. As this is housed in an old building, each of them has individual dimensions. Due to the different ceiling heights and the resulting irregular distances to the merchandise, the LED experts had to plan extremely precisely.
Not only the shop itself, but also the kiosk in the arcade and the showcases outdoors received new lighting. “At first, I was a bit concerned, as I couldn’t imagine at first that the colour brilliance would also come across well at night,” reports Grimm. “But the worries were unfounded. The lighting looks very good without being hard. Even in the dark. “
